Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains exactly what personal data Amora collects when you sign up, browse profiles, recharge your wallet or join a Nazaare room — and the limited cases in which we share it with payment partners, group entities or law-enforcement. It also documents your right to access, correct and delete your data, and how to reach our Grievance Officer.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Amora collects, uses, shares, protects and processes your personal data through https://amora.services. You may browse certain sections without registering. We do NOT offer services outside India — your data is primarily stored and processed in India. By visiting the Platform, providing your information or availing any service, you expressly agree to this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and applicable Indian law including data-protection and privacy law.

Collection

We collect personal data when you use our Platform: name, date of birth, address, mobile number, email, identity proof, and sensitive data such as payment instrument info or biometric/facial data (only when you opt in to such features). You can always choose not to provide information by skipping a particular feature. We may also track your behaviour and preferences on the Platform on an aggregate basis. We will never ask for your debit/credit PIN or net-banking password — never share these with anyone claiming to be us.

Usage

We use personal data to provide the services you request, enhance customer experience, resolve disputes, inform you about offers/products/updates, detect fraud, enforce our Terms, conduct research, and as otherwise described at the time of collection. To the extent we use your data for marketing we will give you the option to opt out.

Sharing

We may share your personal data internally within our group entities and with third parties such as sellers, business partners, logistics partners, payment gateways, and reward programs to provide the services. We may disclose personal data to government agencies or law-enforcement if required by law or in good faith to respond to legal process, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property or personal safety of users or the public.

Security

We adopt reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your personal data. We adhere to security guidelines and use a secure server. However, transmission over the internet is never 100% secure — by using the Platform you accept the inherent risks of internet data transmission. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

Data Deletion and Retention

You can delete your account from your profile settings. We may delay deletion in case of pending grievances, claims, or services. Once deleted, you will lose access. We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected or as required by law. We may retain anonymised data for analytics and research.

Your Rights

You may access, rectify and update your personal data directly through the Platform's profile section.

Consent and Withdrawal

By visiting the Platform or providing your information, you consent to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of your information per this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent by writing to the Grievance Officer with the subject 'Withdrawal of consent for processing personal data'. Withdrawal is not retroactive and may restrict our ability to provide certain services.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please check this page periodically. We will notify you of significant changes as required by applicable law.
